Nissan UEFA Champions League Campaign – win an all-expense paid trip to watch the UCL semi-finals

Here’s one for the football fan. Edaran Tan Chong Motor (ETCM) has kicked-off the Nissan UEFA Champions League Campaign that offers promotions on various models, plus the chance for you to watch a UEFA Champions League semi-finals game live in an all-expense paid trip to Europe worth RM20k. The campaign runs from now till the end of March.
Why the UCL, you ask. Last April, Nissan started a four-year global partnership with the UEFA Champions League, replacing Ford as the car brand rep in the UCL sponsor list which includes MasterCard, PlayStation and Heineken, among others. The agreement is Nissan’s largest ever sponsorship deal and will establish it as an official partner until the 2017/18 season.
The Japanese carmaker has also signed on four players to support its UCL push. The ‘Engineers of Excitement’ are Manchester City’s Yaya Toure, Paris Saint-Germain captain Thiago Silva, Barcelona’s midfield maestro Andres Iniesta and Schalke’s Max Meyer.
“The Champions League is an important global platform for Nissan, and as the sole distributor for Nissan in Malaysia, it is our mission to deliver the excitement of both football and Nissan cars to local fans of the sport. With football being a national sport in Malaysia, we believe that the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch a Champions League match live in Europe is definitely something fans will not want to miss!” said Tan Keng Meng, director of marketing and product planning at ETCM.
