Looking for a Nissan GT-R Nismo but can’t really afford one just yet? Fret not as the Japanese carmaker has just announced that it will be revealing the Nismo N Attack Package for the regular US-spec R35 Nissan GT-R at the upcoming 2015 SEMA show in Las Vegas.
Said “bundle of dedicated option parts” for Nissan’s super coupe consists of specialised parts that were “developed through the time attack project” at the Nurburgring circuit. The project saw the Nissan GT-R Nismo lap the fabled circuit with a lap time of just 7:8.679 – the fastest time for a “volume production” car.
The Nismo N Attack Package includes components and parts necessary “for superior downforce” as well as suspension upgrades that are said to be able to cope with “a punishing road surface full of undulations and turbulent fluctuations.” Also, one gets a full bucket seats over the regular pews of the GT-R.

Bits and bobs of the Nismo N Attack Package are assembled at Nismo’s plant in Omori, Japan – the mechanics responsible for developing said parts were directly involved in the GT-R Nismo project. In the US, Steve Millen Sportsparts (Stillen) has been chosen as official installer and certified sales agency.
To recap, the Nissan GT-R Nismo comes powered by an uprated version of the familiar twin-turbo 3.8 litre V6 engine seen in the regular GT-R – said mill produces 600 hp and 652 Nm of torque. As for the regular GT-R, the US-spec model was revised at the start of this year. It now comes with a total of 550 hp and 630 Nm of torque from the same detuned engine. A six-speed dual-clutch transmission sends power to all four wheels.
